Broadcast 2000 can can import footage from a video capture interface and loads the following formats: wav files, raw audio, MP2 & MP3 audio, MPEG-2 video, VOB DVD movies, Quicktime movies, still frame PNG, JPEG and TIFF images. Many unsupported video formats can be converted using XAnim into something Broadcast 2000 can use.

To create multimedia videos from scratch all you need is Broadcast 2000, The Gimp and an MP3 encoder.

It supports special effects and transitions such as panning, zooming, dissolves, etc. as well as standard functions like editing, loading, saving & rendering and recording.
